Who are you?

We are a National Professional Sorority committed to the art, science, and philosophy of Chiropractic. We pride ourselves in encouraging women in the Chiropractic field. We help sisters discover their potential, and support them in their journey, in the best way possible.

What do you do?

We are currently working to expand our philanthropy projects, and are always open to new ideas. We like to choose projects that not only affect our fellow students, but also leave a footprint in the community. During the trimester we welcome guest speakers to come and share their experiences of what its like to be a female in the field of Chiropractic. We also hold regular sister outings and socials. At the end of the trimester we have an end of trimester dinner, where we recognize our graduates and award each sister with a superlative award.

What's the process to join?

The pledge process occurs over several weeks, where you are given the opportunity to get to know each sister and what Omega Sigma Phi stands for. You will meet new friends with similar interests, and discover your strengths as an individual as well as part of a team. You will also explore the 33 Principles of Chiropractic, while you work to develop your own personal philosophy. There is a basic GPA requirement.

What will I gain as a sister?

Lifelong sisterhood bonds. You gain an extended family and support system while you are away from home. You'll also get exposure to other techniques and new ideas. It also gives you the opportunity to practice your skills, and learn for the diverse experiences of your sisters.

What is your purpose?

We are a philosophy based sorority. We believe that philosophy is the fundamental starting point for Chiropractic, and that without it, there is no reason for us to do what we do as Chiropractors. We often expolore this in our meetings, working to develop and strengthen our own individual philosphy. In addition to philosophy, we are open to various adjusting techniques, taking advantage of each learning opportunity that becomes available to us.
